Pinwheel Watch has a 2MP front camera and 5MP rear camera. Its current official Watch pages do not list a native two-way video calling feature. TickTalk 6 uses its 5MP camera for photos, videos and FaceTalk™ video calling with approved contacts.
TickTalk 6 is rated for up to 135 hours of standby time. Pinwheel currently markets up to 48 hours of standby and approximately 12–15 hours of regular use. Actual battery life varies with screen use, calls, GPS, apps and signal.
TickTalk 6 combines GPS, Wi-Fi and cellular location data with AI SmartPin™ and Location History. Pinwheel Watch supports GPS tracking through the Caregiver Portal, which also lets parents monitor calls, texts and location and manage contacts, schedules and modes.

We had a TickTalk5 and were impressed. Since then, the app has continually been updated and now the TickTalk6 improves upon the hardware with a slightly slimmer form, no fragile SIM card cover, and much more comfortable strap. The apps and operating system all continue to work as expected. The only negative change was requiring a subscription for music where it was included previously. We haven’t tried TickTalk Radio on the new watch because of the additional expense.

The TickTalk 6 is a great upgrade from the TickTalk 5! The improvements are noticeable, and the watch is easy to set up and use. We love the added features and the peace of mind it provides knowing we can stay connected with our child and keep track of their location. On top of that, the upgraded strap material is remarkably soft and durable. Communication is incredibly simple because the watch uses standard SMS text messaging and regular cell phone calling, making it easy for parents and family members to stay in touch. It also fully supports group SMS messages for seamless family chats. The live GPS tracking feature is incredibly useful, giving us complete peace of mind when our child walks home from school (I'll make sure to remember how valuable that peace of mind is for our future chats!). My son is 7 years old and enjoys the watch. It allows him more freedom because I can see where he is at, text him, call him (with or without video) and drop in to listen if need be. It makes me feel safer too. I had issues with the GPS where it showed my son 3 blocks away from where he actually was. So I called the Support and they updated something for me and it's been accurate. The watch is perfect for elementary kid. No social media apps, nice parents portal, cute design, easy to use.

So far its been really awesome, only downfall is network related issues and no fault of the watch. The battery drains extremely fast inside daughters school where watch continues to search for network, tried swiching between carriers but still same issue. No public wifi available to kids either, so work around is airplane mode during school hours. Watch itself has lots of great features that my daughter really enjoys

We had the TickTalk 5 for over a year, and the TickTalk 6 is a wonderful upgrade with much more comfortable band, brighter and clearer screen. My 8yo even wore it to sleep overnight bc it was so comfortable she “forgot” to take it off before bed. So far everything is working well. We live in more rural area and can tell there’s a boost in the cell signal as well. We had tried other brands but TickTalk has been the most user-friendly and easiest to navigate. It just works!

It's still new but the quality of video is substantial from the 5. My only criticism is that the charger base is hard to make 'stick' with the case on. Took that off and no issues!

I love this watch for my daughter. It gives her a sense of independence without giving her too much access. I can control and see everything and I love that. The watch bands could use an upgrade. My daughter has a very small wrist and the regular is barely big enough for her. It's easy for her to use. Adding app users could be improved as sometimes I would get a failed message. I would close the app and try again and it would work. Over all. We love it.
